Well, they tried Kunc at the 5 and it went bad quickly and King gets out of position pretty easily.
So I guess we as fans will just have to live with it on a team that doesn't scream All-Big 12 all over the roster.
You don't have a legit argument against the staff's decisions in any way shape or form.
they have to play someone, Prohm was fired for a reason. He built an awful roster after years of missing on hs kids
TJ got what he could in such a short period of time. It was almost impossible to bring any good players with size to a team that finished previous year at 2-22
When TJ loses 20 games two years in a row then you can finally get your wish.
This was probably one of his stronger games in a while. With that said yes, he lacks the talent or skill to get the minutes he does. But tonight I thought we were going to need Hawley to play meaningful minutes. Had it for to OT we might have.

He is the best we have at backup center. Ward was even worse when he was in there.
I am aware Jones has left something to be desired, but he also brings some things to the court we need. He had an awesome pre season, and I don't just mean the easy teams! He contributed greatly at the Phil Knight tournament. I hope he gets his MOJO back soon. In the meantime I choose to appreciate what he is giving...... as it seems TJ is also.
The only reason this thread exists (in my opinion; I didn't create it), is because ZRF feels it necessary to type volumes on the topic of RJ lack of skill. Most people, on most topics, say their piece, respond a few times to those who disagree, then let it go and move on. Instead, 14 pages of the same thing over and over. It's gotten stale.
It's amazing that you've only been here like a week and seem to know everyone's posting habits already. Just amazing....
