NOTICED
Empty seats. In the first half, there were a couple of hundred in the student section. Apparently, the Huskers' struggles last week turned off some of their peers. The empty seats in the final few minutes were more noticeable —- all over the stadium. When Nebraska got the ball back with 1:53 left, you could see dozens of empty spots in each section. Look on the bright side: Fewer voices to boo the offense.

how many sellouts?

302. But you can have sellouts and then get some no shows.

Or you can be like Iowa and have sellouts when you don't have sellouts, and just call them sellouts.:biglaugh:

Everybody does this not just Iowa. I guarantee you there wasn't a butt in every seat for every one of those 302. Especially during the Calahan era.

All you need to do is hit capacity. Many sell standing room only, which, at the end of the day, I'd imagine go towards total in attendance, which you apply to yoru capacity. Jeez, can we quit ripping on the Hawkeyes already, imagine what this place would be like if we were 8-0.

There would be a dozen different threads complaining about people having to schedule bowl trips into January, before their 2010 allotment of vacation time started. Which would lead to threads about how Pollard should be fired because ISU fans weren't able to take vacation time to watch the team in a January bowl game.
