Pretty sure that lightsaber gets destroyed and he has a standard one with a green blade at the end. Of course it's been a minute since I watched the series.
I just watched through Rebels and this is how it happened

Vader destroys the blaster saber during their battle on Malachor

Definitely a good video to watch before next week to refresh her story.

Only managed to get the first episode watched. Outside of the convoluted macguffin, I really enjoyed it.

Probably a lot less convoluted to those of us who watched the whole rebels series. My kids were prime Star Wars animation age when that come out so I've watched a bunch of Rebels and it was great.

Agreed. I thought the episodes were good. Setting the stage and sorta doing introductions for people that havent watched rebels.

It was interesting that Thrawn went to a new galaxy and not just in the outer rim somewhere.

I’m almost wondering if they are setting this up to explain where Ahsoka was during the rise of the First Order.

Watched episode 2 and all I kept thinking was this could open the door to do the Yuuzhan Vong or at least some version of them.

Dave Filloni has slowly been bringing back elements of the EU. It would not surprise.

I am bummed to learn that Roy Stevenson died this year. I'm loving his dark Jedi character.

Watched the first two episodes of Ahsoka. My wife and I have never watched any of the Rebels shows, so coming from that perspective, we’re pretty disappointed with the show so far. The story seems interesting but we couldn’t get over the wooden acting and terrible dialogue.

I was really hoping this show could do for the New Republic era what Andor has done for the “Rise of the Empire” era, but so far it just doesn’t have the same intrigue. A lot of time is spent on Sabine accepting her role as Ahsoka’s apprentice, but by the time it happens I had a hard time caring.

This show has a lot of love right now, so I understand that this might be a bit of an unpopular opinion right now, but I don’t think this show is going to age well.
