You know what I think is the most cringy/possibly offensive part of it? The fact that he goes on for a while 'trying' not to say white. If you want to make the joke, just ******* make the joke.

Either way, it is a dumb and lazy joke that is fairly offensive and possibly racist. And, like I said last night, this isn't the first time Sales has tried to compare a white athlete to a black athlete in a way that makes it sound like the white athlete is being discriminated against.
It's not funny or well done, but the joke is people being afraid to state an obvious, benign fact, which is it's uncommon to have a white RB on an FBS team. It's just a dumb topic that I can't imagine someone finding all that interesting, but people are helping this dumb joke by suggesting that white RBs are rare in FBS football is somehow racist. Now we can expect lots of smug follow-up by Fales railing about how dumb fans are because they either don't get his stupid joke or proved his point.

Typical troll job by Fales and people are taking the bait.

I didn't get the joke at first but after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and whatever times he didn't say "white", it turned out it was just really cringy and weird.

He drew it out way too long. Not offended. Just thought it got ackward after the 3rd time.

Also, are there really people who didn’t understand the joke and had to have people explain it to them. It was pretty damn obvious.

Fales is an a$$hat but I wouldn’t get too upset with this. He should have stopped after 3 W words

Well, it is no wonder he hasn't made it to New York or LA, his narrative is very poor and his edgy take is purely provincial, and yes I have watched SNL. His satire belongs in the landfill!
He tried moving to a bigger market several years ago, to Kansas City. He lasted a few months there before he realized he didn’t have what it takes, and came back to WHO with his tail between his legs. He’ll never be any more then a second rate journalist, and he knows it.

Not funny and disrespectful to Carson, Heacock, and humanity in general.

Glad they usually ignore us
I'm not seeing how it is disrespectful to Carson or Heacock. Saying that Heacock's defense start off looking like they can't stop anybody then destroy the opposing offense in the second half is a pretty standard and obvious observation made on here by 99% of people. I'm not really seeing how saying CH is a good running back and doing the dumb fake tippy-toe around the obvious race observation is disrespectful. It's dumb, but I don't see any of this on its face as disrespectful. Admittedly I don't listen to them much, so I'm only looking at this in a vacuum and without context of too much other stuff. He does seem to always play the "I'm smarter than everybody else" card and view the worst comments by fans and paint them as the whole fanbase.

You shouldn’t be surprised about the softies on this site that get offended by the dumbest ****. It’s comical really what offends people on here.

Exactly. Most of the negative reactors on here don't even realize that the skit is actually making fun of them.

Wasn’t funny, but I didn’t find offensive as much as I found it dumb. Although during the game when they showed Hansen’s head shot I did think to myself “That kid is Hitler’s wet dream.”

I had forgotten about that.

Very odd, cringe, and lazy....would say the same if it was a Hawk. And also replayed it on their podcast today, so clearly Murph and Downs thought it was worth a broader audience.

Also super disrespectful to Carson.
Murphy is lazy. Needs more enterprise reporting. He is not funny or clever and enables an idiot like Fales.
