Our 9 year old has a Cosmo. We have been satisfied with it. We want an ability to allow him to contact us when he is out to birthday parties, friend's house. He can text us or call us no problem. I love that you can only call/text via the app from our end. So friends or randoms can't call or text him. His friends that have phones can't register to contact him unless we give them a code to allow it.
The only downside is the cell service can be sketchy at times.
