Shohei Ohtani is a Sic baseball player

Chance for an encore tomorrow. Pitching, needs to toss a no-hitter. ;)

David Cone comment about five seconds ago "And charisma galore." Truth.

.
Hit bombs against pitchers and then can go out a mow down hitters with his pitching.

28 homers, 63 RBI's, .280 hitter, swiped 11 bags, an ERA of 2.59, with 82K's 59 1/3rd innings pitched

People hopefully are enjoying it, nothing like it since Ruth

Hot take I heard today compares him to Bo Jackson playing in MLB/NFL. Might be more impressive

How have I not heard of this guy?

Angels have had 2 generational talents on their teams the last decade and only have 1 playoff appearance (and zero playoff wins) to show for it.

He is on the Angels, and MLB really sucks at marketing, all we hear about is what pitchers have on their hands and guys getting strip searched between innings

He got plenty of hype when he signed but his injury took a little of the bloom off of that. Building momentum again with him 100% healthy and just tearing it up, especially the last couple of weeks. Going to be an All-Star game show piece in the home run derby and pitching in the game.

I think that's really HOT.
IIRC, Bo was a phenomenal track and field athlete but knew the income was low.

They have another really good hitter at Triple A just 22 and crushing the ball.

Problem with the Angels, they have a history of building starting pitching staffs with what would be considered mostly 4th starters

Too bad he is on the Angels and most people won’t get to see him in the regular or in the postseason.

Yup. Mike Trout has been one of the best players in MLB the past several years but because of the team he plays for your hardly hear about him.

Just think if he played for the Cubs or Yankees. You would hear about him all the time (and would be justified)

What is amazing about Ohtani is that his home runs are not just barely getting over the fence. Many of them are mammoth home runs.
