What’s your thoughts. A lot of big time coaches like Gino at UConn and Calipari are trying to get seniors another year. Not counting against scholarship limits and all of that.

for Iowa State I think it has minimal impact. Would not mind having Jacobson another year.

Jacobson ended his season Wed night.

No and how many of those kids really want to go through another school year too? This situation sucks but another year of eligibility really makes no sense, many of these seniors will be moving on to other careers.

Maybe allow everyone whose season wasnt already over that hasnt used a redshirt to 'redshirt' this season if they want. That applies more to wrestling than basketball, but it's one way they could deal with the situation.

If Geno and Calipari said that, then hell no. Those two greaseballs are the last guys I would take seriously.

The vote is March 30. If they give winter sports an extra year then all undergrad athletes should be allowed to transfer without penalty

This is so stupid. If an individual gets injured at the end of the year it doesn't matter. They don't get an extra year of eligibility. How is this any different?

Really makes no sense to grant another year to basketball players when pretty much 290 D1 teams were done with their season anyways.
