Saw a Hawkeye buddy retweeting a post from. Marc Morehouse stating Scherff will be playing today, though how much is unknown. Sounds lime their starting DE that was in an accident earlier this week is also good to go. We can't catch a ******* break!

We'll beat them at full strength then. I'm sure our football players aren't afraid. We don't need Scherff to be out to win.
We don't need those guys out, but I like winning, and I'd much rather see them starting a 265 pound redshirt freshman LT than a potential 1st round pick.
It only took Scherff 3.5 quarters last week to lead that hawkeye offense to touchdown vs Ball St.

I will be surprised if he plays. I would hate to see a career ending injury because the rushed get him back on the field.
He wouldn't want to miss his Super Bowl. This game means more than anything to him and his teammates.
Oh the regrets IF he plays and IF he injures it worse. Make millions in the NFL or play against ISU??
Ferentz isn't that type if person. It's deception, or what was done was very minor. Wounds are so small, and with glues infection concerns are different than they use to be. But, again, it could be a smoke screen
Gamesmanship. The guy had a hole opened up in his knee 5 days again. Same with Ott. He's got a bunch of stitches in his shoulder.
