Hows everyone feeling about saturday? Obviously we have a ton of confidence going into College Station but this game has me nervous and excited. IMO this is one of the biggest games of the year. We really need to get in there and score early and force turnovers like at Neb. we can't give Johnson all day to throw or it could be a long afternoon. But if we can bring the same defense that showed up last Saurday we have great shot. We have a great opporunity to really keep things goin on Saturday! Whats your thoughts?

    Alot of ifs..

Can our D repeat such a solid performance?
Health of our two top offensive players?
    General health of the team?
Can we refocus after such an emotional win?
Can we kick a ball from inside the 35?

Which A&M team shows up? The one that got dropped by 50 at KSU, or hung 50 on Tech?

I know we'll get a great effort. That's all I can bank on at this point.

It's one of those games where I have a good feeling, but I also have a bad feeling. I'm a little nervous, but I'm excited. I think we'll win, but we could easily lose. We could play very well, but we could come out slow. I don't even know what to predict for the final score and outcome yet...

It's early yet , but a win saturday would likely put us at a tie for 1st in the north, with Kstate @ Oklahoma.

For me A&M is a tough team to understand... 1. they go and get killed by K-State 62-14, who we should have beat, then 2. beat Texas Tech bad 52-20 who just beat K- State really bad. One week they look horrible and the next they can't be stopped. I don't see our defense causing 8 TOs, I think to win we will need AA and A-Rob and with both of them sitting was huge on getting them closer to being 100%. Everyone will think I am a crazy person where ever I end up Saturday watching college football with my walkmen on listening to the game... oh well, GO STATE!

I'm feeling good enough that I've decided to head down there with my dad. Should be a good time!

I am still as excited about the win over Neb. as the next guy, but stepping off my cloud and looking realistically at this game I would say that the D will have to play even better Sat. to come away with the win. Josh Johnson will not miss the throws Zac Lee did, the D will not force 8 turnovers (would love to be wrong about that ;) and probably never in our lives will we see another day where EVERY reviewed play goes States way.

Hopefully getting AA back and a healthier Arob will help with putting some more points on the board. I dont think A&M's D is as good as Neb. so it would certainly be nice to see something similar to 05 ;)

I'm feeling less confident than last week for some reason.

We are going to have to score some points to win this game. Knowing that two members of our secondary will be out (one for just the 1st half) A&M will come out throwing, so hopefully we will be ready. They have an outstanding offense.

We really need Arnaud and Arob back this week.

The edge hast to go to A&M based on raw talent and home field. I give ISU the coaching edge and heart. I could see it going either way.

First tell me who's going to play. Man, I don't know how you handicap this game. A&M has no form. They recently have played really well and really bad - I'm talking a 100 point swing between K-State and Tech. They obvioiusly have a lot of talent and now, coming home from that great win in Lubbock, they will be very confident. We have to score some points and we have to eat some clock. If they stack the box like NU did, we have to loosen them up. If we can make them cover the whole field-spread them out, then I think we have a chance. Put a gun to my head and I would take A&M and lay off the points.

One thing is for sure, their defense isn't 1/2 as good as NU's. On the other hand, their offense is a lot better. What worries me is that a crappy NU offense moved the ball on our defense too much. If the turnovers wouldn't have happened it could have been ugly.
