Yes May 18th last day to sign. Why would he come here at this late of hour if he wasn't going to sign?

Well by the time he comes, he can't sign a nli. Can't stop him from committing though.

Hopefully, he commits, packs up and starts summer school and cap city in June.

What a sleeper class this could be if we grab a top 100 this late. Could be a blessing in disguise if Malou is one and done anyway.

Couldn't he sight a loi before visiting and if he doesn't wanna commit he'd be able to back out?

Not really possible. A LOI binds you to a school, and the school is the only one authorized to releases you from a LOI. For his own sake, Romello would be more likely to just not sign a LOI. There's more risk involved for the school, because there's no obligation binding the two, but luckily Iowa St is in a position to take such a risk.

I fell asleep early last night and woke up 1130ish to find this thread on cyclone fanatic. I went back to bed figuring it was a dream. But I'm awake again and im still seeing this thread. . . So bizarre.

Maybe I missed it but will someone explain to me if he only has until May 18th and he's not coming until this weekend so obviously not signing before the 18th how we can snare him for this fall?

He's not coming till next weekend, May 28th. Unless I'm mistaken, there's no requirement to sign a NLI.

Romelo as already signed a loi with Georgia Tech. Doesn't signing that mean that you can't go to another in conference school without a release?
