I just want to say that I'm not sure 2015 violated the rule that was brought up. It's CoKane's call of course, but him leaving subtle bread crumbs over the course of the game is not "directly" revealing his role. He only revealed those bread crumbs when he was finally in danger of being lynched. And if 2015 was actually mafia and wasn't the doctor, he could have done the exact same thing and NOT been killed off for violating that rule... Which is kinda dumb.
A couple conference call this morning. Thought I'd check in to see if there are any good theories and..
My guess is that North isn't going to be allowed to reveal anything which is probably the right call but it sucks.
He had a post today where he 'shouted' I AM THE DOCTOR. Unfortunately, I think that qualifies as violating the rule. But yeah, I agree its dumb that if he was mafia and did that he wouldnt have been killed.
I think it would be a major violation of unwritten rules if North dropped his list right now in the middle of a night phase.
Yeah... I see that more as necessary given the state of the game though. The doctor was discussed heavily by everyone at the time.

Why is 2015's elimination being counted as the lynch if he was eliminated due to the revealing role rule?
If someone with 0 votes had "directly revealed their role" then I don't think that would end the day too.....
I think we might need to look into that rule a little bit more once we finish the game TBH. If 2015 wasn't basically the decided upon lynch it would have been a real tough spot. th For me it was the all caps I am the real doc post that pushed it over the edge. Doing metric crap ton of hinting isn't something that really bothers me.
IIRC though the problem with directly revealing came when regular innos would get specific names for roles so they'd get a run started on them, say "Yo I'm Tweety Bird" or whatever, and then we'd all move on to someone else. Since revealing as a special comes with some drawbacks and can be a good strat for mafia maybe it's time to rework the rule a bit
Should be able to. Thoughts @CoKane? It shouldn't matter that he had a lot of votes because that could have changed and we weren't expecting a half day.
