Former Baylor Commit that ISU reached out to recently cut his list,
With Burton on board I am curious if the staff may have backed off anyways due to lack of position need and lack of Schollys.

@BLUEChip_Miller: 2015 Kobe Eubanks (@kobeeubanks) cuts to 10:
Georgia
Oregon
UConn
Missouri
Providence
Louisville
Kansas
South Florida
Maryland
Virginia Tech

@TravisHines21: Iowa State was in to see Amir Coffey ('16, MN) today, per a source.

Jerry Meyer picked ISU in the crystal ball for Amir Coffey in case anyone was wondering. We are also listed as Warmer while Marquette and Minnesota are listed as warm. Very encouraging

Not encouraging. HS kids just don't seem to want to come here and Fred just isn't getting it done with the HS recruiting.

I would like to imagine CFH and MA will wait until Amir Coffey is healthy again before they would accept his commitment.

I bet they would accept it whenever he wants to give it. It's just a torn ACL, pretty common to come back from. He's high level talent

I agree.
Also, and this sounds kind of bad, but it would only be a verbal committment.
If he starts playing this summer and it's obvious he isn't the same player, ISU could pull the offer before he signs.

He has unofficially visited MN 6 times with the 7th scheduled for today. No visits to ISU yet. It doesn't mean that we don't have a shot, but being in the same city as one of the recruiting universities is a definite advantage for MN.
