Recruit Lists v2.0

Remember all those clowns that said "we aren't getting Grandstaff"? Where are they all now? Even though based on that picture that he loves to take selfies, I still hope Fred gets this kid. It sounds like we have a decent shot.

Hmmm..... Even tho he tweets "just got off the phone with my man Fred Hoiberg", we never even got a visit and he commits two days later. Yes, he retweeted everything...but "my man Fred Hoiberg"? huh Kinda laying it on thick, wasn't it? Ohio State got a good player tho. Lucky.

For now...

We should all thank HB for going to UNC. If he goes to ISU most likely McDerrmott stays and we are nowhere near the program we are now.

Yeah I would've rather just had McD be just as good as Hoiberg is now and not had to go through those 5 years. It's bad logic.

What if Harry stayed and McD felt more comfortable offering his kid? Who knows. I'm happy now though but there's no guaranteed this outcome is the #1 outcome possible.

Lol I forgot about this post. Swing and a miss.

If you paid any attention to his recruitment you knew he was going to go to a blue blood/national type program.

Thanks. My quick google search didnt find anything.

Listen guys, I'm not one of these "right way" guys. Who cares as long as you are winning right? All I know about Myles is they have pulled his offer and are considering getting back in on him. When it comes to Dillard, I can't really speak on that because i don't really know what the coaches are thinking and they clearly aren't the only ones offering him.

Iowa pulled Myles's scholarship because he doesn't want anything to do with Iowa. Go ahead and waste your time by re-offering. I would expect our ******** rival school to do something like that thinking they have a chance with Myles when he's already said "no" to them.

@GoodmanESPN: Oregon State 6-10 signee Isaiah Manderson told ESPN he has asked for his release from his letter of intent following Craig Robinson firing.

He has a pretty good offer list and 6'10" guys don't grow on trees. I don't know anything about his skill set though but what do you guys think?

Seems we could use a 6'10" body, and he'd have 3 to play after sitting out I assume. But when reading his bio, he didn't seem like a Fred type guy. But what do I know.

I guess it's not that I don't want, but I don't think he would thrive here or be a good fit if his biggest strength is his mid-range game. Hoiball doesn't have a mid-range game.

Pretty sure Hoiberg caters to his players strengths and if it's midrange game then so be it. I don't think you fully grasp hoiball

So if we miss on Anderson do we go after the manlier version Manderson?

Fine if Fred evaluates he's worth it, but I'm guessing he'll shoot for more down the road. I don't know, but I bet Iowa goes after him. They have 2 schollies left at least.

Really sounds like Turner is starting to show his potential on the AAU circuit this year too. Would be a great mismatch as a 6'7" gaurd with handles that can shoot.

2015 wing A.J. Turner likes Iowa State b/c of strong connection w/ISU coach Cornell Mann and style of play ($) http://scouthoops.scout.com/2/1400696.html
