Recruit Lists v2.0

I'm expecting that Hoiberg's most recent successes will enhance his recruiting ability. ISU... the next Blue Blood!

IOWA - Play in Game Runner Up 2014

I would say most of the guys we recruited for 2014 are going to schools that the coaches won't be fired.

Jaylen Johnson -Louisville
Rashad Vaughn -UNLV
Marvin Clark -Michigan State
Abdul Malik Abu -NC State
Reid Travis -Stanford
Jared Terrell -Oklahoma State
Dwayne Benjamin -Oregon
Chris McCullough -Syracuse
Darrell Davis -Dayton
Bonzie Colson -Notre Dame
JP Macura & Sean O'Mara -Xavier

Side note: Xavier coach Chris Mack is being rumored with the Wake Forest opening but nothing is official.

Long shot, but it would be sweet if that happened and Macura was back in play.

The other one that really sticks out is Dwayne Benjamin. Most people probably can barely remember him because our recruitment was short lived, but from what I heard, the coaches thought very highly of him. Thought he could be a true game changer for us.

Do you think the Richard Amardi situation had anything to do with Benjamin committing to Oregon before he visited ISU?

I don't know about all of those coaches being safe. Bray might get fired (he should for his awful season) and Archie Miller will get a ton of offers to leave Dayton.

I have no idea, but I read the situation more as he was very high on us, but didn't make it here for a visit because he pulled the trigger right after his Oregon visit. He probably just really liked his visit there.

Hawk friend of mine up in Twin Cities said we are high on Jarvis' list. Shocking, I know. I'll spare you the connection.

With all the talk of BJD, I had to go way back to find this thread.
I would love an early commit from a highly ranked 2015 guy.

I would have to think our chances are pretty good if those schools are our main competition. Yes, I'm biased.
