really?

Would you care about what happens at a job you won't have in 5 years?

Am I the only one reading, "Well, so much for next year." Are we spending too much money to suck and Rhoads knows that? I hope so.

You don't lose like this at home in today's college football.

I can't help but think that Wimberly is going to be seeing less and less playing time. Looks like Mangino really wants someone to be able to run up the middle for 3-4 yards consistently, and Wimberly just can't get that done this season.

I just want to add, under Rhoads, it's not like our line will be able to block any better next year. So, might as well burn em up now.

Not a big deal in my opinion. He is a decent back but never going to be a primary every down back. So why not get him some playing time.

I agree. I don't mind getting another year separation between him and Ozigbo. Wesley, I don't really like, BUT, Salters is a slot WR that would be in the same class as Wesley. Now they are separated by a year. Seems to me that this says a lot about guys like Brown, Webster and Lawry. I could see all three transferring out after the year.

I was ticked when they "wasted" his red shirt too, then I saw him move piles consistently. The problem in this game was a lack of a running game. Maybe he will make a difference in future games. Sam and the defense played well enough to stay in this game if we could have just had an average running game.

I was wondering why they didn't pull it for k state. A game we could have used him.

I don't get why we saw so little of Nealy out there tonight, thought he had looked better than Wimberly so far this season. Looks bigger and quicker.

People do realize he'll get other carries the rest of the season, right?
I think the frustration lies in the fact that Standard could've been our 3rd RB and never got carries and Tyler Brown was listed ahead of Syria and he's already redshirted, so that would also have made more sense. It just seems like a desperation move instead of a move that was premeditated.

It's very possible the staff thinks Syria is better than Brown or Standard. He certainly brings something size wise that Brown doesn't. Do we really want our staff redshirting guys who could help us win games later in the year?
