Right. This is just a good video to share in case some Hawk fan acts like they dont agree that these calls are stupid.
That ref that called excessive taunting? I found his FB account.
ISU radio announcer, he got it after Pete Taylor passed way to young.
By rule, maybe because the rule leaves it so much in the officials' hands. By rule, anyone going into the endzone doing anything other than normal stride running could be flagged for taunting and a score taken off the board. Slow your run down? Taunting. Pump your fist on the two? Taunting. Clap the ball between your hands? Taunting. The rule is a terrible rule that should've never been put in place, especially with a complete lack of definition of what taunting is.
That's borderline, but literally 10X worse than what X did.
You could call holding on every single play. But they don't. Because that would be dumb. Just use common sense. These guys sucked at that.
I for one welcome that change, mostly because will McDonald is getting held almost every single play.

Picking up the defensive holding flag was also a terribly wrong call. Fans at the game mostly didn't know because there was no replay of it. But on TV they showed it and the holding was undeniable. My theory, they had already flagged Okie State twice for PI on that drive. I think the head ref just didn't want to penalize them again. Same way that Reggie Smith didn't want a PI on K State when Allen Lazard got mugged.
