Yeah, take your pick, 'the dagger' was either USC\UCLA or Oregon\Washington.
It definitely wasn't colorado. Hell, there was talk as recently as today that a pac-8 could survive even without Arizona.
Even more so since it was reported that it was USC that shot down PAC expansion in '21
Yeah, losing 2 of the 4 tent poles in the conference basically started the countdown. We're incredibly lucky that we had Texas and OU when the others left and just as lucky that others didn't jump ship when Texas and OU left.
As long as their distribution is coming out of Fox's pocket and not ISU's, why wouldn't we start things out on the right foot.

I need to lay the sarcasm on a little heavier it seems. Big 10 definitely has blood on their hands. But the blame really goes to the apathetic fanbases and their commissioner.

We are damn lucky that none of the other conferences picked the Big 12 apart when it was weak. And they had 3 chances at it.
