IIRC the full story, sounded like she needed a wake up call and got one. Quit drinking and ended up going on to get her master's degree.
So now she is trailer trash hot and may have a good career? What a catch.
I mean, look at who would likely be left. The better options would likely get snapped up by Big10\SEC. FSU and Clemson for sure, North Carolina, Virginia, GT, and Miami probably get taken as well.
The more desirable ones would likely be gone. Pitt and Louisville would be fine adds and would offer some geographic benefits for WV\Cincy. You'd probably be looking at them, VaTech, and NCSU.
But I didn't have to take basic Calculus to graduate from ISU!
True Story: While I was in the Army, before I went to Iowa State, I was taking courses from the Univ. of Maryland Asian Division (UMAD) in Korea filling in the freshman requirements for this and that. So, one of the classes I took was the Math 101. My professor was a Penn State grad. So, I was accepted to ISU as a transfer student, and they accepted all of my transfer credits. However, they said my Math 101 was not hard enough and would only count as an elective. So, I had to take ISU's intro Math again for the requirement. I was like WTF? Math 101 from the Univ. of Maryland (AAU) with a professor from Penn State (AAU) and both higher ranked Universities than ISU was not good enough? So, I took it again at ISU, made the same grade and moved forward. I must say, my class at ISU was harder though in a big lecture class with an older Persian Professor instead of in the small class with UMAD. On the flip side, I was able to use Korean 101 as my communication requirement instead of Speech 101 - since I took Spanish for my foreign language requirement at Iowa State.
Still, did not have to take Calculus to graduate like they do at GT!
We’ll be fine if we don’t add anyone. The key is not to get poached, which likely won’t happen. When the B1G adds ND and some more PAC schools, and can grab some more. When the SEC raids the ACC, we can grab more. It’s not an if it will happen, it’s when. ND might not move until the SEC starts getting their ACC schools. That could be in a month, it could be in 12 years.
Probably but two round robin divisions with the champs facing off on the CCG may be fun.

Wouldnt they still have to guess at where the Big 12 deal will land even if they get the Pac number? At some point it does seam like they are going to have to make a leap of faith, either stick or go.
What good is waiting for those numbers, if a week later a couple leave. The rest have to do something anyway.
This is a huge opportunity, but you're correct. Let's say everyone pauses:
The Big 12 had a good summer because the Pac got weaker, and the ACC is looking for the escape hatch and is still either on a 2016 era deal for 14 more years, or going to lose teams to either the BIG or SEC.
The only projections out there had the Pac, Big 12, and ACC very close (with respect to P2), the difference mostly based in CFP bumps for ACC and Pac. The Pac just lost TV value and some of their assumed CFP bump.
As long as the Big 12 is committed to sticking together, it is safe and no worse than tied for 3rd. But likely much better if it has the resolve.
So, this means from ESPN, since you'd expect FOX to have that ready given it made the USC move.
And ESPN may not have been planning to bid on the entire conference, at least not this year, and certainly not without UCLA/USC.
We'll see how much ESPN wants to overspend to prevent the Big 12 from being the 3 in P"3"

Playing along with this Fox B12/P12 vs ESPN ACC/P12 theory, what is the current financial status of these media giants? Wasn't it barely a year ago that ESPN was still aggressively shedding on air talent, reportedly due to financial problems? Is ESPN still in position to out muscle Fox here?
Let’s say the PAC and ACC make their alliance, and they play an extra game where their champions face each other before the playoff selection. There’s a pretty good chance that Clemson knocks off Oregon/Utah or whoever and makes it easier for a Big12 school to get it. If that alliance were to ever even actually happen.
Before you ask that question, first ask the question of how many properties FOX has sold off to Disney over the last decade or so - the parent company of ESPN.
I asked myself, and I didn't know the answer. Do you know anyone who does?
20th Century Studios and the Fox Entertainment group, including all the properties and titles (including the Star Wars franchise) would be the big one.
They were also in the running to buy out Fox Sports Net before they were eventually sold out to Bally's.
That's just off the top of my head.
