Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

What's Bob Bowlsby up to these days? With the momentum building against the Big 10 and SEC interests, it's time to keep the pressure on. Hopefully, somehow Congress finds it is relevant that they issue a subpoena to Bowlsby for his knowledge of ESPN tampering after ESPN/SEC (Sankey) took Oklahoma & Texas.

I like you in general, but man you are such a ridiculous B1G shill
Pointing out the admin notoriously bends to the wishes of billions makes me a shill now? Or is it pointing out that a bill has zero chance of passing? Neither really have much to do with the big ten it’s just looking at facts

First off I reworded my post a little.

Secondly, how many 10s of billions are behind the B1G and SEC? Come on dude. The Big 12 finally has one ultra rich guy supporter and your butthole puckers like Trump's mouth.

The "labor politics" is a secondary issue given the language to explore unionization at a later date. It has been essentially punted to be dealt with later and rightly so to increases the odds of the bill passing this year or next.

And "elites" being threatened by this bill is comical. They will make more money with pooling and also benefit from unequal revenue sharing as Campbell has pointed out. ESPN and Fox don't benefit and are using their puppet boy commissioners to lobby on their behalf.
It’s in the 100+ page bill
Much of Saban’s grandstanding is on the topic. It was alluded to in Cantwell’s comment about China

So that might be a big reason they supported SCORE but not the current legislation.
Could be and also could be the reason why the house wouldn’t support it and that’s why it’s in the Senate bill. That is speculation, though.

That one was pretty good. I have zero problem with Cody buying TT players or advocating for the big 12. I do have a problem with him trying to pretend he’s saving college sports and taking the moral high ground when he wouldn’t be doing any of this if TT was in the P2.

I also think that his bill simply has zero chances of passing. If it did pass I really wouldn’t care one way or another; it just doesn’t have a chance

So then you happily. agree that the Big 10 is amoral?
Big ten isn’t an individual but the individual people who are billionaires that make up some of the alumni are. You don’t become a billionaire by not taking advantage of a whole lot of people on your way to the top
