I've said this before, but joining a conference with a national footprint like the Big 12 would be a massive boon for online enrollment numbers.

Not sure how interested/aggressive we are in adding ASU, but I think that'd definitely be a part of BY's pitch.

I wonder how connected fully online students are with their schools athletic programs? My memories were made by being in Jack Trice and Hilton, not watching a game on a TV screen. I guess multiple yrs of listening to Pete Taylor and Eric Heft didn't hurt also, but I actually started listening more once I attended ISU.

I'm not saying you are incorrect I was just drawing off of my own experience.

I understand the semantics, so yes, technically, they’re not getting paid from THAT pool of money. However, my larger point is that now, athletes are able to get paid too- something that’s part of this new CF landscape. I think that’s a good thing.

For me personally, I am much happier to give money to the athletes out there doing the work than I am a state-funded institution, that receives ba-zillions in grants and with over a $1B endowment. I’m all for people giving to the school- but if I had $50 and had to send it to a giant institution or a broke college kid working his butt off- I’m messaging @brentblum and sending that $50 to the college kid.
You're supposed to send in $69 in support of CycloneLarry69

If we get Arizona, ASU and Utah can rot on the vine as far as I'm concerned. Only reason to add ASU is the reputation of their coeds, I'm too old to score on that and too poor to be a sugar daddy for a couple of them.
So you are just giving up?

Arizona is coming. We will take them. And Oregon has to wonder whether they want to be tethered to the PAC 12. Oregon could thrive in the Big 12. And they are not getting a B1G invite. Arizona State should be worrying. Utah as well. Washington not getting a B1G invite either. This could fall out with Washington, Oregon, and Arizona all going to the Big 12. Absolute homerun.
Stormin, are you the guy that lives in or around Spokane? One of the regulars does. Curious what the media in Washington are saying.

Lots of other photos with all sorts of angles on Google if you'd like to check yourself. :)
Nope, I'm good. I believe you guys. I've got more important things to read about! There's this realignment story regarding the PAC and the Big 12. Perhaps you've heard about it? :D

As of now the current format is 6 conference champions make the playoffs. Will be interesting if in two years from now it’s 5, or 4.
