I've been rereading a bunch of books they made us read in high school lately. Mainly because I've mostly forgotten all the plots of them and it'll be a good to really realize what made them so special in the first place now that I'm more mature, it's not an assignment I dread, and I've learned a lot about history and how to really read a book since high school.

Anyway, I'm doing Animal Farm currently and I can't believe how heavy handed it is. Or I guess I forgot how heavy handed it is? Maybe since I didn't grow up learning about the USSR as much since it wasn't around when I was born it was just another book. But it's so heavy handed it's bad but good. I don't know how to explain it

Wherever I go, there I am.
I have it on great authority (several DM guys on CF) that your life would be better if you only moved to Des Moines. Hear they have ample parking and a terrific sports arena.
Everyone should probably move there, but I'm not sure it can handle such a mass infusion of residents. Perhaps we'll need to have a lottery or something.

Rev, that would be a payloader going to the hospital, Bulldozers have tracks usually.

Ladies had a doozy of a game against Drake unable to attend but tickets were put to use so all is well.

Had to plug a tire tonight, woke up this morning to go to work and tire gauge on the dash said 23#s, pumped some air in held all day till I got home went to check it and it had dropped to 25, took it off, soaped it up, found the hole and fixed it.

A meeting and hopefully some Christmas shopping to do tomorrow.

Did this happen to someone?

It was a news story this week, too lazy to link. ;) Sounds like the owners had parental locks on so he couldn’t actually order stuff, but would interact with Alexa over 40 times a day (like asking Alexa to tell a joke). The parrot was a rescue animal—he was kicked out of an animal scantuary for swearing too much.

Not exactly sure.
Which channel? So next time I'm up north I can watch.

KIMT channel 3. I still call it Mason City but they have now basically made the complete switch to being Rochester based. Good bye local news. Would rather get DM channels now that local HS sports isn't covered.

Old George. That is a good photo he looks semi normal. He tries to over deliver and it comes across as the radio announcer who uses tries to use a lot of volume changing even throughout words. He has some weird facial looks when he delivers also.

We used to have Katie (whoops I see there are two Katies now, the brunette one. The blonde is the new anchor and always has the look like a train is coming at her or has been punched in the back while talking), while struggled at first, she improved through the years and was a cute and perky individual to watch deliver the news. Although my teeth have moved a bit after braces, they are basically 97%ish straight; crooked teeth drive me crazy. I had to learn to not look at her bottom teeth at anytime.

I see this Bunge dude is the assistant manager, his bio makes him sound a little unstable while looking at his photo.

Says it is a must have stocking stuffer (an ad I got). I don't see the purpose of it. Is it a neck exercise? Looks like she is sleeping. Replace a pillow? seems weird to want to nap/sleep in the doorway.

update, baby went back to sleep after an hour yesterday, but woke an hour later.........then it was DH's turn. I got three more hours of blessed sleep. Baby refused to nap for DH so in the end it was worth it. Of course then last night he was up more than often, including 15 minutes before my alarm. So we go into his room to let DH sleep. Get him some breakfast and try to convince him to go back to sleep. He coughs a bit and proceeds to spit up everything he ate down my shirt. But then he chilled while I got ready (and tried to rid of the spit up smell) and got him to sleep 10 minutes before I left. So hopefully he got a good nap in now.
