A side note on the drive to Hilton Mon night. Someone out on 13th St. in Ames has a Christmas Vacation house, the whole front and roof are covered on lights not a huge house but still looks pretty darn impressive.

Saw some evil spawn of satan deer across the street tonight so mixed up some concentrated Liquid Fence shrub spray. Freezing ass cold so mixed it indoors. The mix is bad enough but the concentrate is breathe through your mouth while you mess with it stinky. Kinda stinky in here. Ack!
On a somewhat related note, CBS News reported last night that several employees at an Amazon warehouse had to be taken to a hospital after a container of bear repellent exploded. One person actually reported in critical condition. (Not sure if just from the repellent, or perhaps the explosion itself.)
Regardless, that must be some pretty terrible stuff.
The can was punctured by a robot. I think they said 24 people were affected. Bear repellent is like pepper spray times 1000

Seems to do that sometimes and than it doesn't and I think it is fixed and than it's back to not embedding properly again. Weird.

I get asked by two people if I could meet with them today. Pushed one to Monday, gave a time to the other. Already had 6 appts on my calendar for today. Five minutes after I set up a time with one person, one of my meetings changes time slots to overlap with the slot I just gave to that person. I message person again to reschedule.
Now here TWO MINUTES before that changed meeting is to begin, they cancel it saying ah we can do this over email and then I'll meet with some individuals (me included) later.

I was admittedly not prepared for a meeting this morning due to being swamped at the end of the quarter and partially due to a new tool that I am still figuring out. Had the PM ask if we should reschedule...got glared at when I said it would be next year because I am full through next week and then I am only here one day the following week.
