Yep. We were checking to see if they had the Black Cherry White Claw tall boys that my wife really likes. We needed some low carb tailgating fuel. They didn't have any in stock and our Hy-Vee gas only had one.

I'm guessing my license plate gave me away?

I was looking out the passenger window, away from my husband, when I saw him bounce in his seat out of my peripheral. I think I said "Huh?" in which he replied "License plate." I turned my head to see not only the plate, but your profile. "Wait! I 'know' him!"

p.s. - "Know" is quoted because we've never met IRL. Just clarifying. o_O

Reminded me of a couple games ago. We have had the same seats next to this father and son (always believed to be around my age) for pushing 10 years. Always chat with them.

Standing there and the son comes in, asks me if my name is BC (actual name) and I say yes. Tells me he remembers that name from college. Said he lived on floor a couple doors down from lawman. Did concern me that my name was familiar but not me. Did I lose my stunning good looks and he didn’t recognize me?? Can’t be that. Did I date his gf? Naw, I didn’t really date in college. He said he couldn’t remember why my name stuck in his head nearly 25 years later.

Apparently sitting outside in 15 degree wind chills for six hours results in catching a cold.
My whole body ached but that was over by today. I could barely get in and out of the truck on the drive home. K-State I'll drive over before the game and just spend the night afterward.

I took an extra coat Saturday for the game since son never packs well. Of course he’s cold, I offer, he sees coat is ok and wears it. This morning I take mom to dr appt, get to clinic shake my arm and something kinda falls out. Think it’s either granola or a dried piece of brat.

Kid takes after the in-laws when he eats apparently.

Maybe he was just keeping it for later, as a snack.
