Also, I trimmed his nails today - well, on one hand - while he was sleeping. Used real clippers too, not just the file. Did so while the rock n play was rocking. That's gotta be hard mode for sure. Other hand was behind his head where it usually is. Decided going for that without waking him was expert mode and I'm not ready for that yet.

This makes me SO HAPPY for you! For some reason, companies are still being stingy with raises, and it's nice to see someone get what they deserve for once.
Thank you! Half the battle is just asking for it and proving your worth in terms that they want to see.

Yeah, they'll nick themselves up a bit with those fingernails.

Does anybody else have reaction icon OCD? Once I make a decision to click a reaction icon to a post, I then spend a much longer amount of time agonizing over which one to click.

If there are already two icons there, one of them is 2x and one is 1x, then it's an easy decision. I click the 1x one, to balance them so they both are 2x.

But sometimes there are four or five already, and each is 1x. I can't choose one of the already selected ones, because that would unbalance them. But there may not be an appropriate reaction left that hasn't been clicked. I wouldn't want to dislike a post, or tool someone, just to click on one.

Why does it have to be so difficult?!

Only a little with the heart. I see that as love symbol, and that weirds me out a bit to give that for friendly.

They should allow you to click more than one.

So I post a message to local alumni asking for suggestions for a happy hour or social gathering for alumni. Stated to keep in mind that not everyone shares the beer only brewpub craze. Some people don't drink and others like wine or other options or might be interested in a place with actual food. So, pretty much every suggestion back is from guys touting their favorite brewpub. o_O

"Mmmm, I am loving this 15% ABV Bavarian Stormmeister Acorn and Bacon Infused Stout. Hey, how come none of the alumni gals come to these?"

I've found that Minnesotans are extreme beer snobs all the sudden...
