Was a little worried to turn the air on for the first time tonight given GR8's experience, but all is good. Just needed to cool the upstairs a bit, I'll have to run it for awhile when I bake tomorrow. Frosting does not like the humidity.

Thanks! And nope! Wisconsin actually has a rule where if you graduate from Marquette or Wisconsin with a certain gpa and have taken the right classes, you don’t need to take the bar exam to be admitted. I meet those requirements and I have a job in Wisconsin lined up for after graduation, so i’ll never need to take the bar!

I've had to run the A/C for a while here in Texas (although this is the first pretty warm week here in Texas... in the upper 80's). Luckily no issues so far.

Congrats to everyone graduating and everyone else enjoying the graduation smorgasbord!

Life has caught up with me too much to be able to check in very often... but hope everyone is doing well. I've been busy at work, at home being a homeowner, and trying to be a good significant other. I've got a couple of Iowa buddies visiting me this weekend though, can't wait to let loose a little!

Woosie.
But seriously, good luck on the new gig. What are you going to be doing?

We got estimates from several companies and there was a price difference of several thousand dollars between them. Watch out!
Yes, I should probably call at least one other dealer to get something to compare. I work with the cousin of the guy who fixed it yesterday.

In those instances, if I feel someone has done me a huge favor, I will get another bid and ask the First if there isn’t anyway they can close the gap. The HVAC choices in our town is pretty bad.

If you know any sheet metal workers, they are all looking for work on the side and will save you a bunch in installation costs.

Saw that Avengers movie for DH's bday with friends last night.

Two things (no spoilers!)

1. I haven't watched nearly enough of those movies cause I kept wanting to be like who is this person and how are they connected. DH has seen all and had no time for explanations
2. Someone brought their baby/toddler who proceeded to cry, talk, cry, whine, and do such as children will do in a movie that lasts almost 3 hours (with previews and credits) and starts at 7:30pm AT NIGHT. WHY DID YOU BRING YOUR BABY.
2.5. We sat way up front cause seats were limited and heck, it was too loud for my baby. Kept jumping around.

Entertaining movie, I suppose.

I actually got a job as an associate in a firm and I'll be doing estate planning! I'm super excited because what I've wanted to do. Though none of my friends can understand why I find estate planning interesting haha.
He’s in Wisconsin, so either defending murderers or prosecuting them.
Close, I was a prosecutor last summer and applied for some prosecuting jobs, but have also realized that really isn't for me.
Hey! Let he who hasn't had a murder in his town recently throw the first stone.

Also, I'm guessing Woo isn't doing a criminal law gig, though I could be wrong.
Yeah, I enjoyed being a prosecutor last summer, but realized I didn't really like going to trial, which wouldn't bode well for me working in criminal law.
