Random Ramblings:

Going to head over to Target Center LifeTime this afternoon.. Haven't been in there in a long time. They have a nice indoor 1/8 mile track.

I now know where to find 25 cent/hour meters dwtn thanks to Pants.

Living alone means you have to amuse yourself, ain't no one else going to bother. My new avatar amuses me and I am pleased with myself.

Fixed up/remodeled the downstairs basement exit hall closet. Needs some lights (order) and some sheetrock (ran out) but now have a place to hang work clothes and biking jackets stuff. Only took me like 12 years to get after this following the plumbers and HVAC guys destroying my first remodel of this closet/hall thingy.

The exciting lives we lead...
Heading out to run errands
1) Take PapaLew's puter to the puter hospital cause it caught a virus
2) stop by the eye doc because the new glasses (made to the Rx he wrote) cause double vision in the close up part of the blended tri-focals.
3) drive to Story City & browse through the kitchen outlet store for a couple of things we can't find in Ames

Things we never had time to get to before...things that get us out of the house. :D

PS: noticed your new Avatar - I like it! Figured it was time to bust out my Santa avatar.

Naw...
It's been sick for months. He usually uses the tablet, but he's been working on finances & budgets now that we are no longer gainfully employed. And he's getting frustrated when he tries to search the net for templates & stuff, and he keeps getting booted off the connection.

I have yet to purchase a Christmas gift aside from the Secret Santa gift and gym donation I had to have done this week.

That's 2 more than me. Not even all that enthused for Christmas yet. Hopefully I'll get more enthused as it gets closer.

I'm giving tickets to events for a lot of gifts this year. I'd rather give an experience versus something they'll probably buy for themselves if they want it.

I only have a few younger kids (friends' kids and a niece) to buy for and took care of them last week. I kinda miss buying gifts for the little Santa-believers. It's fun watching them play with the awesome stuff I buy for them and ignore other peoples' lame attempts. I gots gift-giving game!

I saw the commercial for this the other day and had to rewind it to make sure I saw it right. I mean, unless it has spinning light sabers that trim your whiskers, this is a really stupid marketing tie-in. I'm a Star Wars fan, but I'd be embarrassed to own this.
I saw the commercial the other day and thought the same thing.
