Something doesn't seem right.

Someone just walked customers through by me and they were talking about going to the Ox Yoke tonight. Dammit just when I thought I was doing good on starting this whole diet thing and you wave that carrot in front of my face.

Bonus points to whoever recognizes this movie.
Someone probably beat me to it. That would be one of my favorites, "Altered States." Loved the intellectual arguments Bill and his colleagues would get into. And yes, I've dropped in my day.

I preferred my math classes to be fairly early, while my mind was at it's freshest.

I loved 8 ams in college! I'm a morning person though so that helps. I'm at work before 7 am. Mornings are the best!!!!
It's the worst, I almost always over-sleep this class. The only think I like about waking up this early is I tend to get a lot of class work done

so I'm not sure if I just can't figure it out or if Target is annoying. Placed an online order off a registry for which I want a gift receipt. Didn't really see the option when I ordered (though I saw the gift wrap option), but I did call it a gift in my order. Order arrives. No gift receipt. Says I can print it online. So I figure I'll do that today. I go online and I'd need to print for each separate item. There's like 5 things and I don't want to try and stuff five full sheets of paper into a card. The gift is being given at work today so I'm sort of short on options at this point. Is there not a way to print a gift receipt for an entire order? I have to be missing something.

The recipient is a friend so I can always tell her to let me know if she needs to return anything but I'd like to make everyone's life easier and just give it to her now. Oh, and I tried the Target chat thing and it keeps telling me "no representatives are available". Maybe I have to wait til 9am or something.

Off the grid
You were that guy in college.

I've become that person now, though. This is pretty much the reaction I get from my family when I try to wake them on weekends.

That was definitely me.

The kids and I are the same. My wife is a bear in the morning. Don't make eye contact or a sound until she's been out of bed for an hour and had breakfast.

You could return all the items to a store and re-buy them. Seems efficient jimlad.png

I can't sleep past 7:30 am on the weekends. My wife rolls out at a brisk 10:00, but usually in pretty good humor.

Our high school held a presentation last night about "how to pay less for college". They might as well have titled it, "You can't afford college." At least I have a better understanding of the financial aid process now.

Also, I found out that Stanford turns down half of the people that apply with an ACT score of 35.

College me completely agrees with you.

Adult me is all suck it up buttercup. Granted it is a lot easier to get up and get going when you are getting paid to do so.

The college me also says it's easier when you are not out late doing college stuff. I generally avoided anything early but got stuck once with a winter class at 7:30 is some old dumpy room that was always to hot. Landscape architecture history. Dim lights, commence slides of all sorts of designs stuff. Snooze. This was before I was addicted to coffee.

It's been a long time, is 35 or 36 the top ACT score?

Back in 1968 it was 36. Recently found my old ACT score and guide in a box of old mildewy stuff in my mom's house . The mean score back then was 19.8. My own score was higher than I remember. Not as smart as 30 something score little sis but not as dumb as I recalled either.
