Think it started with us doing the construction management for the water treatment plant EPA was constructing. Then we helped with contract oversight of their plant operator. We ended up doing both the contract and contract management for them. We had construction/contract manager folks nearby while the EPA guys were all in Chicago and working a million things at once. Made sense that they focus on more important stuff then the munde day-to-day operations for a plant.
That makes sense. Thanks.

Chicago, in general? The Bears? The Food? The murders? The traffic? No parking for your SUV near United Center? O'Hare? The band?

Certainly not the food. Probably the band. They really went downhill when Peter Cetera became the lead singer.

It's definitely not their representation. It's even part of their new motto.

Chicago - Sure you might get murdered, but you'll still be allowed to vote.

The entire thing. Even the food isn't as good as I remember.

Seriously wondering what in the bloody **** I did with my life.

But Alive Again is the best Chicago song. Doesn't get the play it deserves. Cetera at his best

Alive Again was pretty good. But it was pretty much the last of anything good from Chicago. "More melodramatic power ballads, less cool horn sound" .

Speaking of bad Chicago tunes, Glory of Love was uber-cheesy. I was watching Karate Kid II with lil Cooler the other day when it came on. Man, I forgot how craptastic that movie was.

It did make me remember how much of a crush I had on Kumiko when I was a kid, though. A quick IMDB search helped me realize that was the first movie that Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) was in. She was also in 24, Heroes, Days of Our Lives, The Day After Tomorrow, Four Rooms, JAG, etc.

She has been in tons of stuff. I think she might actually be Troy McClure

The first Karate Kid was a good movie. The next two he was just some whiny kid and you liked seeing him get his ass kicked

For Homecoming our HS marching band did Chicago tunes, which the oldest liked playing. She was going to miss the next band performance and was mad because they were playing Jenny by Tommy Tutone. Thankfully the rain prevented the marching band from playing, so they will do that one next week.
