I know she will enjoy it, but she was on more of a Green Day kick this summer. She hasn't really listened to their new album yet. Now she is more into 21 Pilots. A friend invited her to their concert in Illinois but of course she had some sports going on so couldn't go.
She is also going to Def Leppard, Poison, and Tesla in a few weeks.
I will say I m kind and disappointed in @coolerifyoudid should have stuck around and asked her out for that night Or called me.

Yes, although there are too many songs she likes and is worried each band won't get to play all she wants to hear. More Def Leppard, then Poison. She doesn't like much Tesla.

That's funny how similar our daughters are. She played "her" music on the way to practice last week, and like half of it was 21 Pilots. I think she may have even asked if she could go the same concert you're talking about, but she ended up having a conflict of course.
Tesla is a little of an acquired taste. Good drinking music (so it might be good she doesn't care for them as much)
Are you kidding? I'm trying to figure out how to make it to this concert:
I was supposed to work the first Eagles reunion concert at Hilton. Backed out at the end. Them and Fleetwood I would like, the doobies would be fun. I saw EWF and must have thought they were a different band because I didn't know as many songs. Makes it interesting when you go to a show and realize you probably had them confused with someone else.
The wondrous, mystical elements known as Earth, Wind, and Fire? They're one of the bands I would most look forward to. Love love LOVE EWF.
Hubby can handle the classic rock and even Green Day, but he is not a 21 Pilots fan. He calls them 22 Navigators just to tick her off.
So usually he changes the station when a song comes on. They were in Omaha mid week after that Illinois concert, couldn't swing that one either.

No idea who they are. I don't discuss music with my kids unless its from before they were born.
When I was a senior and basically engaged, I had two female friends of mine tell me that they had a huge crush on me and flirted with me when they first met me. Another girl that I dated during freshman year said her roommate really wanted to go out with me.
I called BS because I didn't pick up on any of that. I'm pretty sure this is just some sick game women play with men.
On the other hand, maybe they wanted to go out with me for my money. Not every guy was financially savvy enough to eat for free during Cub Foods sample day.
At first I thought this story was going in a completely different direction
We went to American Idiot at TCR (Theatre Cedar Rapids) last year when they did it. Interesting show but it was great to hear all of the music.
They scheduled a disaster recovery test of today and tomorrow. Of course once the end of day hits everyone just disappears and everything takes twice as long as people aren't engaged. I have to put up with this ever DR test. I just don't get it.
