I honestly don't remember that Slow Pitch Softball thread from 4 years ago that was resurrected last night.

00 - We've narrowed down our campsites at Yellowstone (well actually be in the Grand Tetons) to the one you recommended and one other one. Also, one of the neighbor's bosses has offered that we can use his ranch (45 minutes north of Yellowstone). We can't use the main house but can stay in the "Cook Shack". It has 4 bedrooms, a 17 foot breakfast bar and heated floors throughout. He also offered up the use of his four 4-wheelers and any of his guns except his Desert Eagle (that was nice but only one of the families hunts). He did warn us that if we go beyond the fences of his property, there is a spot that has the greatest concentration of Grizzlies in the country. One year they were hunting for elk and shoot 14 of them but could only bring 3 home because the bears got to the others first.
Yeah, I really don't like like. I guess I get the logic that it keeps judges accountable because the can't just rule in favor of the rich, powerful and corperations, but in reality it means that judges are getting campaign contributions from the rich, powerful, and coperations (all of whom may appear before those judges some day), and it also leads to more guilty verdicts and harsher sentences. Iowa has the best process IMO.Voting to.elect judges is sick and wrong. No offense intended to Wisconsin.

But then again, Wisconsin does other things which are sick and wrong, like watching porn while eating breakfast at a restaurant and calling drinking fountains bubblers (looking at you Milwaukee)
The only thing that I really know about Doctor Who is that the snobby British redhead married to Doctor (Goose) Green on ER played a character named River (Phoenix?). Mixing a LOT of genres here!
I did, however, watch Torchwood in its entirety...
I really didn't like that story line.
And Barbecue, never forget barbecue...and around Sheboygan, they call grilling "frying out". Was in Kohler for an interview, guy making small talk asked if I fried out, said they like to get together and fry out. I thought he was talking about a Turkey fryer or something, so I said no, I'd seen it done but didn't have room for a turkey fryer in my apartment. He got this weird look on his face, then was all "Oh, I think other places they call Frying out 'grilling'".
I really needed the job at the time, but was thinking "errr, I'm not sure I'm going to fit in here."
The ER marriage, the River character on Doctor Who, or Torchwood?
Sorry. River in Doctor Who. Though Torchwood had some pretty creepy episodes.
Well my sisters have finally decided that we are heading to our aunts visitation tonight instead of funeral. Meeting at my house, hopefully then they will tell me where we are going. Know she lived in fort dodge, so I'm guessing there. She married my youngest uncle. No blood lineage left in my dads generation. Only ones left in the generation before me is my mom and one aunt.

I'm having barbecue for dinner.
Although my mother died when she was 52, four of her 7 siblings and several of her SILs & DILs are still going strong (including the oldest brother, who must be pushing 100 by now). My father's two brothers have passed, but both of their wives are still with us.
Bodes pretty well for my own longevity.![]()
