My landlord's dad is visiting and is always on the stoop drinking a coffee when I leave in the morning. He got to rant in to me about lawyers and how we should just make a law that says this and a law that days that. I was like "I'm pretty sure there's a lot more that goes into making a law than just writing it out." He was like, well yeah, their boss has to sign off on it. And I was like, "if by 'boss' you mean 'vote of legislature' then yeah, that's a part of it but there's still a lot more than that."

Load this up on your phone and play it for him tomorrow.

So, the nurse at the Ortho says I define "diehard fan". Looks like I'll be having arthroscope on my knee in a couple of weeks. I had to google the date of the Iowa game before I would confirm that the 11th would work for me. It is a torn meniscus, and there's a piece of it messing with my knee. My knee is full of fluid because of it.

Good news is its a 2-3 day recovery, and it's more than 2 weeks before the foot surgery, so I can go ahead with that.

It's shaping up to be a really fun December...

Be careful of scar tissue build-up under arthroscopic ports. Those scars are the worst for that, so making sure you have good scar mobility is key. Can almost start that as soon as stitches are removed.

I'm a stickler for rehabbing properly (I've had a lot of issues with my right wrist/elbow). :) But thanks for the advice. Did you have this done?

No, I haven't had it done, myself. But I'm a physical therapist and have seen the worst case scenario of that. Can rehab perfectly in every other aspect and still end up needing a manipulation because of that. Miserable.

I just told mrs00 the other night that I could use a little manipulation.

So I found another pet pieve while driving. People who fill up at the gas station but then leave their car at the pump while they run to grab something. Thanks for making it so no one else can use the pump
