Random Thoughts IX (The first 8 were probably better)

checked my work email cause I'm masochist when I'm slightly drunk and somebody sent me something to edit 20 minutes after I left the office. Lol. It's also something that they were told a couple times now that they need to not ask me for help with cause I have other responsibilities. I helped with something else of theirs about an hour prior because I had the time. They mentioned they had two files but didn't specify they wanted my help on both. Should have known they'd send the other. Welp, sending it 15 minutes before close on a snowy Friday was a bad choice. It was seriously a ghost town by the time I left.

yeah, I bailed 30 minutes early at work today cause I could see the mass exodus going on and wanted to leave before it got dark. Once I got on the road I wished I had left a bit earlier. Rural roads were pretty iffy for me.
 
If any of you ever come to visit we are having apple pie with French vanilla ice cream and champagne. Cause really good, confirmed.

On the weather front I am seriously doubting the 4" - 8" snow from the latest forecast. Guessing more like 2" - 3".

I don't think I can get there but this food sounds good. Rum and sugar cookies was my food tonight. I gotta stop on the cookies though.

Supposed to go across town for party with friends tomorrow. But cold, blowing snow, and snow. IDK on this.

It's all part of the long con: you act nice, people let their guard down, and BAM! you get them

Also, two of my friends have their professional responsibility final tomorrow. One of them had an overripe banana and so we were all joking she was going to give it to my other friend so he'd get sick, and then she would get a better grade as a result. So the strategy was on my mind.

don't think I've see windchills like they are proposing since finals of my sr year. eyelashes froze jr walking from building to building.
 
We had almost no snow in Crapids, but my car was a sheet of ice leaving gf's house. She also lives in a neighborhood with no streetlights so I legit scraped my car blindly.

gifts all wrapped. Which is good cause I had a bunch of boxes sitting there looking all messy. All gone.
 
Okay, time to push sloth to the side and start shoveling. It's not like any of the young strong RTT Mpls peeps are going to do it for me. :rolleyes:
