Random Thoughts IX (The first 8 were probably better)

Now that we've planned our Spring Break trip with one of the neighbor families, we need to ask other neighbor families that we're friends with. We don't want to do it in a way that will offend since they had no prior knowledge of this. Our wives decided that the other husband should send the email because he's not much of a planner and it would come off as if we just planned this on a whim. He doesn't want to do it. I volunteered to send the email to the neighbors this way:

Me - "I'll send the email, I'm blaming you and Henrietta."
Mrs. JCyclonee - "That's exactly why you're not funny."

There is an apartment building a block away that I can see from my office. Through the sliding glass door, I can see somebody not wearing a shirt in one of the units. I'm hoping it's a woman but figuring that's probably not the case. Do you think if I go to the marshall's office and ask for a high-powered spotting scope to look into somebody's apartment it will sound suspicious/creepy? Remember, this is research I'm doing here.

Do get you to a certain extent. Not the same thing exactly but I had to abandon a thread I started when a couple of dickheads would not stop posting and debating spoilers even though we had separate movie vs book threads. Now that the show (Game of Thrones) has moved past the book I am not sure where those guys do their **** swinging since I ignored them.

Was trying to get ready for work when my back slowly started to lock up. Went anyway, lasted only four hours. Now laid up in bed with Aleve in my system, heating pad on back, and hoping it gets better before 5:30 when I have to be at other job.

And as far as I know, I did nothing to aggravate it.

My wife's tall, too. Every once in a while, her back just seems to hurt pretty badly for a while.
 
Anyone want a Christmas card from the Cybirdy family? I have about 90 extras after my reprint from Snapfish.

I had ordered a photo book from Shutterfly for the in laws from our all family vacation in July. It was due to arrive Friday or Saturday. Got an email that said it would be delayed and they understood it was most likely a Christmas present. They offered a smaller book with rush shipping that would make it there in time as a $150 credit on the Shutterfly account. If we chose not to make a smaller book, the $150 credit will remain on the account going toward future orders until it was used up. We don't need a book there until after the 27th when we will do family Christmas, so now we can order books for the siblings and pay hardly anything for them with the credit. I got the book for 50% off and free shipping.

Pick me Pick me! We don't have any to reciprocate though. Well I suppose I could go around and see if any coworkers have the one I gave them sitting on their desk still.

I can trade you a card I got from one of your old sorority sisters. Made me feel really old since she must be 40 now and I have known her since she was 3 years old. Her little boy is pretty cute.
 
Postings here today make me think that maybe, just maybe, I should do some Christmas cards. Been looking at them for a week and surprisingly they have not addressed and mailed themselves. Low tech stuff. So disappointing.
