Teenage boy eating a can of kidney/black/chili/pinto beans...oh that can't be a pleasant rest of the evening.

Pretty much need a plug in air freshener in every room with multiple boys. I think that whey protein they consume may be more lethal than the beans though.

A single 4-5 square mile rain storm within the beltline and it is centered over my house trying to rain out my lawn work and biking day. It's a freakin' weather conspiracy to have my garden look like **** and turn me into a fat *** out of shape old man. Shakes fist at sky!

I can vouch for this! Mine never consumed anything as healthy as whey protein, but they never needed help from beans to produce various odors. Then you add in a couple of Brittany spaniels that liked to roll in dead things...there were times when I probably should have opted for a gas mask...especially on laundry days during the football 2 a day summer sweatfests!

Yep, that was an oversight. I have three in my deck fridge now.

Dos Equis in the green bottle is no bueno though

I like Mexican beer in Mexico but not here. It's like they ship all of their bad batches to the USA and keep the good unspoiled beer in Mexico.
:skeptical:

These two are related. Light is bad for beer. Arguably worse than varying temperatures. The turn time of mexican beer in mexico is probably quick enough that they can get by, but for stuff shipped here, not so much.

Downtown we have no rain. The storm cell must be quite localized.

The weather is weird this year. Last weekend, the son had a baseball tournament in NW Brooklyn Park and had no rain. The neighbors son had a soccer tournament in not-quite-as-North Central Brooklyn Park and had drizzle. Another neighbor had baseball in Stillwater and it evidently rained, straight-through, until after two in the afternoon.

My oldest daughter went on her first date last weekend. I told her to wait until she was thirty. Why don't girls listen to the knowledge of their fathers?

Weird weather continues. One crack of thunder and poured like crazy for like 30 seconds than back to overcast and sprinkles. Just enough to keep me from biking and probably perfect mosquito weather.

Still looking for a couple hour window of bike opportunity.
