Cubs still suck. Was fun for a couple innings before the bullpen struck. Until that point I thought the Brewers pitcher was the one in trouble.

Still an awesome player time with my son, dad and uncle. We went down and walked around the discovery center and art center on the lakefront this morning. Very impressed with the lakefront and water clarity.

Wave on the way back! We were down there a couple weeks ago and enjoyed the 3rd ward.

Well saw the final Indiana Jones movie, I liked it it was a rollicking good time. Lots of action some nice nods to the previous movies while still being a pretty decent stand alone movie IMO.

Big old moon out along with a few fireworks going off on the wat back from the theater.

It. Is. Raining.

Octordle Daily Rescue kicked my butt today. Only got 5 words. The 4 starter words were extra bad.

In Milwaukee for the Cubs game tomorrow. Went to Atwater park/beach on the way in. LittleWx is convinced he will buy one of those bajillion dollar houses some day. More power to you kid.

Milwaukee is such a convenient town to see a sporting event. Good sized city but not the level of sprawl like others.

I think I would die if I ate 62 hotdogs over the course of a week.

I had to babysit a nephew most of one summer, his dad worked days and I was working nights so he'd stay at my place he was pretty much old enough to entertain himself. I bet we had hot dogs 4 out of 5 days every week. Boiled, microwaved, panfried, on the grill, he didn't care he just liked hot dogs for lunch. It was quick and easy for me so I was good with it.

A kid that I would babysit grew up on hotdogs, spaghetti Os, malted milk balls and popsicles. I don't recall ever seeing that kid eat a vegetable.

My wife’s nephew would have his dad drag in an air fryer and make him chicken nuggets anytime at the in-laws. When my FIL passed, I took the job of accepting the food that people brought and putting it in the fridge/freezer. They got so much that the freezer had to be cleaned but I waited for my wife to help, I figure in-laws don’t make any decisions. The BIL got mad at me and I said I’m only throwing meat older than my youngest (like 8-9 at the time).

Well, I came across the nastiest freezer burnt nuggets you have ever seen. I shook the frost off them and put them front and center in the freezer About 2-3 minutes after I put them back, the wife’s nephew came and grabbed them. They had to be disgusting.

Just saw that Chicago (the band) is part of tonight’s Capitol Fourth on PBS. I usually try to watch at least part of this show every year (benefit of Ames not doing fireworks on July 4) and will definitely need to turn on the tv soon.
