Already addressed this some but here goes. They speak Russian to each other and on their cell phones. No wedding bands so not mail order brides. ;)

Natasha is the older one, maybe middle-aged, and Svetlana is the younger apprentice and better looking. Natasha looks to be a straight razor toting women who would cut your throat. They are probably actually Russian mafia but spies sounds cooler.

I could try wearing one of these to start a conversation.

You sure they aren’t Ukrainian? The hotter blondes come from there I’m told.

Also, you saying they talk to each other on their cell phones there?

Not blondes and they both talked on their cells in Russian or Ukrainian at different times. Probably coordinating hits with their handler.

******* crickets, noisy little bastards. They do seem to like finding their way into the lower level in the fall. Went full on Liam Neeson. Took two tries but just found him and Liamed him. Flushed him out with ant spray and than smashed him with a vintage hickory shafted putter.

We moved into our house right before Halloween. The first we met one neighbor was him coming over in costume to let us know that they were having a Halloween party and it might be kind of loud. No problem, we like to have an occasional party too, thanks for letting us know. That was the only time we got such a courtesy. Let's just say the rest of that story belongs in the terrible neighbors thread.

Things were great when they got divorced and it was just her living next door...

Was talking to someone about not being a hand shaker type person and reasons why. Reminded me of something this summer. Wife's family is definitely light on manners and general things. It's a group that routinely doesn't wash their hands after restroom visits. Now keep this in the back of your head like I generally do.

We were at a Twins game, my wife and my family separated from the rest of her family by the aisle., we have waters and they are running up and down the steps continually grabbing any and all alcoholic beverages that are possible. No issues with adult beverages, but moderation is key in my opinion. I look over for some reason and see one of the wife's nephews (with beer cans and what not littered around him) stick his tongue out and then proceed to lick his hand from the heel of it to the tip of his fingers. Must have spilt some beer on it. I nearly barfed. He had been grabbing railings, the seat arm rests, had been playing bags earlier, and who knows what else (and knowing their bathroom hygiene) and just licked all that stuff up.

This is a group that loves to shake hands also. When I do shake hands, I will try to remember to shake with my left since about 70% of the people are right handed and I decrease my chances of touching hand lickers and not bathroom hand washers dominant hands.

I now wish we had the Japanese bow as our thing.

I don't understand people that don't wash their hands. It's one of the easiest ways to keep yourself from getting sick and that was true before Covid. You would think after Covid people would start washing their hands more often but nope, I still see plenty of guys use the restroom and just walk out.
