Shout out to @wxman1, thanks for the hospitality and taking the time to visit with me bout the various planes. It was a fun and learning night. Hope you had a nice flight back.
Wish I could have made it. Coop shut people off at 11 today but since I was close to filling contracts they let me haul today and I managed to finish them up. (Need the cash so that was nice).
No problem! I got to fly us back so that was an added bonus.

Well, NIL was brought up in the Q&A, and he talked a little about it. What stuck in my mind was this comment: "Saban said he has a guy that made $1m already, and we have a one or two that have made a couple hundred bucks...it's really good to be in Ames where we don't have to deal with it as much." That kind of led me to believe he isn't all that interested in a high-pressure coaching job, at least not right now.
Lew spoke with him afterward when the auction was going on, and made the comment to him that things just got interesting with UT & OU, and that alignment is probably coming eventually, but not yet", and Campbell replied "definitely not yet". Doesn't seem to be high on his list of things to worry about right now.
Side note: I didn't realize how tall he was. Or maybe I just didn't realize how short I am. He towered over me.

The other thing I liked was that NOTHING was about him. Even when the questions put him on a sort of pedestal, he deflected to the staff and the team and his senior leadership on the team. He was really excited about Kene, and equally excited about Kolar and the other seniors opting for an extra season.
Yeah................... Will focus on taking it easy. Monday afternoon I think we will be in air conditioning so that will help that day.
