Random ISU FB player you remember

During the CF after dark Litecast, they started bringing up random players they remember. Here are a few random ones that came to my head.

Demond Tucker - DL - 2015 to 2016? He was really quick for a DT, but kind of fizzled out his senior year.

Jeremiah Schwartz - RB, I remember a coach calling him "a rolling ball of butcher knives". He started at the Nebraska win in Lincoln (8 TO game) but never did much. I think he transferred to Ohio or something.

Brett Medders - had a few big catches in the win against Iowa back in 2014? I think he is Lindsey Fennelly's brother.

Blaise Bryant- RB from 88 - 92 ish. First team Big 8 and 3rd team All American. Good player but great name. Drafted but didn't make it in NFL.

Reggie Hayward. I got to see him up close before a game and that guy was built. That memory sticks with me.

Blythe. Was a nice WR but mostly because he went to my hs where his dad taught science and coached baseball.

Ed Williams and Ty Watley. Two fantastic WRs from the mid 90's on bad teams. I just wonder what kind of numbers they would've put up if they were on good teams that threw the ball more.

Do you have any random ISU football players that stick in your head and what you remember them for?

WR/SB Keno Laney. He must be from the 70s. I remember him because I used to subscribe to Max Emfinger's Blue Chips magazine, where he was one of the few players listed who was looking at Iowa State, but that's not the only reason he stood out. They said he ran a 9.5 100 yard dash, which was unheard of in our recruiting back then. Only problem was, he was only 5-7 and did very little after he got to Iowa State.

They called Blue Chips a magazine, but it was printed on newsprint in magazine format. It went to a glossy, more magazine-like paper a few years later before it was discontinued altogether. Some of the other players I remember from that magazine are DT Mike Stensrud, Richard (D!ck) Cuvelier and OL Brian Neal.

I bought jewelry from him at a jewelry store in the Merle Hay mall about 15 or 16 years ago. Right after he was done at ISU, I suppose. Really nice guy, bigger than I expected him to be.

Ace Bowen. My first cyclone memory was after a game (not sure what game but it must’ve been a win) there was a huge crowd surrounding him on the field and people were handing him a bunch of things to sign.
