And for the record, I’d take Hoiberg back in a heartbeat. It’s not like he left us for KU or TOE - he left to fulfill a dream to coach in the NBA. His big mistake was taking a job with a team that still thinks it’s the Jordan era 20 years later. People seriously need to put some Preparation H on that butthurt and get over it already.

I’m not saying Fred wasn’t awesome, it was a great time of Cyclone hoops, I love those times as much as the next fan it’s just time to move on from Fred, it was the day he left.

As a fan, I'm glad Prohm is gone. But regardless of how I feel about him as a coach, he has lead a clean program for the past six years and has been nothing short of a great person. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
It counts but be honest with yourself. How hard was it for Fred to get him? I will say it now and if it ever happens come back and blast me. Fred Hoiberg will never get a 5 star recruit without a family tie or a local kid. Had a chance at 2 4-5 star recruits in his backyard and whiffed on both. Ouch.
