Prime Day 2024

Not surprisingly, my extended family also leans to the nerdy side.

“The Darkest Dark” by astronaut Chris Hatfield is a lovely intro to human space exploration for the 5-7 year old crowd and available in hardcover under $13.

“Phantom Tollbooth” hardcover for under $12 for a quirky tween. It appealed to my humor back in the day.

There is a series of DK Treasures books marked down to $13 that 7-10 year olds seem to like. The kids turn out to really like nonfiction. I think there’s a Secret World of Plants, Nature’s Treasures, and Weird and Wonderful Nature.

The most loved book by all the kids in 3-6 range is also on sale, Encyclopedia Prehistorica Dinosaurs, The Definitive Pop-Up.
