Preseason ranking for chatter's sake ...

This is before the championship game, which I see pitting oSu and K-State.

  1. oSu - passing game + favorable schedule
  2. K-State - Wizard's last trick before retirement
  3. OU - not as easy as coordinating O
  4. WVU - QB gets eligible
  5. Texas - Herman brings hope
  6. TCU - awful to respectable
  7. BU - Clones in Waco
  8. ISU - Ku visits
  9. Ku - may surprise someone or two
  10. Tech - piling-on

It appears as though Surly is pandering to his audience...

Your rankings on a KU site which show:

i've got it something like this:

ou - best qb for the style
k-state - best o'line
oSu - best passing game
wvu - a lot rides on transfer qb
texas - we'll see, mr. herman
tcu - awful at year's end
baylor - in transition
ku - getting better
isu - likewise
tech - fear the worst

ku could finish as high as 6th.

and your rankings here that show:

Those rankings are not the same. I have oSu and K-State. Tmcat has OU and K-State. The bottom teams are also different.

You're really going to try to convince us that these predictions are from different people? So there are two KSU fans form Lake Reservation, MN who use odd taglines in their predictions?

It's not a one-room cottage.

Now, do you have any comments on the opening post subject, or we in for hijack 'gotcha' exercise the rest of the thread?

One has to wonder if this isn't the season that oSu takes the mantle from boomer, with coach Stoops now off to other places. That should give the Pokes leverage in the Sooner state, they've not enjoyed for some time now.

Yes I do have a comment on the post. Why are your predictions in this post different then they are on the KU board?

I'm guessing WVU, with the clearance yesterday of Will Gear, will be better than projected. Depending how good he is, supposedly special, they may leap over OU. I'm just not a fan of youngster coaches being successful their first year in the saddle.

Will you be updating your rankings on all the Big 12 message boards or just this one?
