I'd prefer to frame it as "a good chance of being Top 5 when we play OKST".
You make it sound like we're likely going to lose against them.
Id be way more worried about the Iowa game if I were you. It’s a good setup for them to do what they do so often.

We just needed to be in the top 10 to have a shot. If we end up with one loss to a good team but beat OK in the champ game, starting this high will still keep us there maybe.

Iowa State is built this year to absolutely give Iowa fits. I really like our chances to put it to them this year.
Might as well get the prediction thread for that game fired up!
Why is it a good setup? They are coming to Ames with the best ISU team in history to play them.
Could we lose, yes. We could lose to anyone on the schedule. But it is not setup well for them to beat us. It is setup well to be scared if you don't think CMC has this program in a different place than it has historically been.

It's amazing how little the ball has bounced in Iowa States favor in this series and we've still had our chances to win. IMO Iowa won't be able to score enough points and our OL is going to absolutely own their d-line.

At a bachelor party with many ISU/Iowa fans and grads last weekend we obviously discussed this game. We came to the agreement ISU wins but Iowa covers.
