Probably playing time related. Only playing 10 minutes a game and has only played in 6 of their 8 games.

They didn't offer Willie Cauley-Stein either so I don't think it means Ogeleye isn't a high major player.
Really? I was just saying it because KU rarely lets top in state talent leave if they want it.
Agree. They must have liked what they had since they didn't offer either player. I bet they regret not offering Cauley-Stein.
I believe he was on the radar, but in that recruiting class, KU locked in two bigger wings (Greene and Selden) fairly early, and ended up getting Wiggins. And if Ojeleye was to be a four, then he has to play behind Ellis for three years.
Also, Ojeleye's HS team mascot was the Cyclones. So, yeah.
Looks solid. Has 3 point range. List at 6-8 on his ESPN stats page but he doesn't look like 6-8 on this video. (Granted it was 2012)

His game does look like what Ejim eventually developed into, but he probably has a slightly better handle and a little taller.
He is a little behind the elite of the elite at Duke, but he has serious raw talent. I'd love to see what Hoiberg could do with him as s combo 3/4 like Hogue.

I'd say we won't be getting the Duke transfer because it'd be off trend. All our transfers were either studs at a smaller school looking to upgrade or a star in their program but got kicked off the team and needed a second chance. Haven't been a home for anyone looking to score more playing time.
