Kind of figured he would go there. He's have been a good piece but not an important one for us to keep doing well.
Shayok was scoring 9ppg on 20mpg on the slowest offense in the country.
I was telling everybody that would translate into an All Big 12 elite scorer easily and I was right.
It's really kind of nuts for a bench player to score 9ppg in that offense the way it was back then.
Disappointed as I liked the idea of getting Warley on campus for the spring to work on his game, get acclimated to TJ practices and be set up to be an immediate contributor next November.
Not a game changing loss though there will be similar players available in April to fill that role.
