Poll: ISU -3 vs Kansas

This is true. That's probably the thing that gives me the most hope.
Things that don't give me hope:
- KU I think is not as bad as their record, and maybe that last win gets them on track.
- ISU went back to the CMC phonebooth offense last week.
- Rocctober/Brocktober is over, does ISU have another gear or not?
It’s not like the team is spiraling out of control into the abyss. They lost one game by one point to a decent team. We knew they wouldn’t win out. If anyone can fix whatever issues they might have it’s Campbell and Heacock.
I think we play and play call much better after that loss. ISU by two or three scores.
I think some of it depends which vs of J. Daniels we get
Tomorrow will be telling.
Was last week the wake up call we needed? Will Mouser learn from his mistakes? Rocco can have a good game against this secondary.
Or is this a genuine slump for this team?
I will say if we had squeaked by Tech I would’ve been far less confident about tomorrow.

I think which daniels shows up is key also. we get daniels throwing dimes and running around the field, a loss is likely and why the line is so close.
There is a reason most places have us at -2.5 now.
Its not normal for a 7-1 top 25 team that just lost by one point by shooting themselves in the foot several times to be favored by 2.5 at a neutral Pro ISU site against a team that has 2 (not good) wins.

They beat Houston by 28 recently and coming off a bye week.
Just my opinion. I said right after KU beat Houston that KU and KSU were the hardest games remaining for a few reasons, then we went ahead and lost to TT. lol.
I will say a Win this weekend gets me back on the Title game bandwagon, but a loss this weekend tells me that we are a 8-10 win team total for the season.
I did pass all the ISU team busses today on I35 so I am feeling good.

Yep, KU is more dangerous than their record and seems to be on the upswing. We seem like we have been trending down for a month. The UCF and TT games were full of bad football.
Not sure if you're joking, but WVU was probably the best and most complete game by our team and Rocco, for sure.
Yeah this line really jumped out at me. If I were still betting on games, I'd be all over the 'Clones -3 like stink on monkey.

I doubled down on my isu bet after each of the first 3tds, I think I'm gonna wait to see if the isu defense does their typical 2nd half wizardry before doing any more.
The surprising part is the lack of response from isu. I still expect isu to score plenty of points in the 2nd half but at this point they may be in too big of a hole.

I know. Notice how I said "if I were still betting on games"? There's a reason I don't.
But seriously, I based my confidence on thinking we'd be fired up and focused after giving away the game vs TTech, and still controlling our own destiny. And as we both saw, that definitely wasn't the case. Losses like this are maddening.
