NBA: Pick one

How 'bout they fight and I back them up.

Hell, I don't even want to do that.

Robert Parish?

Edit for clarity: how is he on this list? I don't recall anything controversial or even intimidating about him.

Unless we're just looking for stamina in the fight.

I always thought Anthony Mason looked tough.

James Johnson tends to be a sleeper in this type of thing. He is a black belt holder in karate and has no losses in MMA/UFC and kickboxing matches.

Laimbeer... Because he would fight dirty and take someone out with a cheap shot that they wouldn't be expecting.

I hear Kermit Washington can throw a decent punch. Maybe not so much if the guy is expecting it, but still.

It's laughable that anyone who played in this century is on that list. The old NBA was a fist fight compared to the last 20 years. Anyone who played in the Knicks/Heat rivalry of the late 90's should qualify. The 80's Celtics and Bad Boys era Pistons probably fit that mold as well. There hasn't been a good fight in the NBA in years, even the "Malice at the Palace" was pretty weak as far as player vs player.

I was wondering why James Johnson was in the picture...now I know.
