A pretty sweet story about a stray dog wandering into a home during a storm when the owner didn't make sure the door was latched). It makes you wonder how long this poor thing was on the street or, if not, how poorly she was treated before. It seems like she'll be treated well for the rest of her life. And I might have donated to the cause ;)

Dogs have an innate social bonding of intuitive pack animals. They know other dogs by sight and sent. BUT, they are selectively bred (since forever) to see humans as their ultimate attachment. So we have this wonderful animal totally committed to us. We can return the favor in taking as good of care as possible of our best friend like the sweet creature from the article.
