"Peek" concept

Interesting article on the Peek concept by Chris Brown od SmartFootball.com. Basically the offense does the look to the sideline thing and snaps the ball while looking away, which catches the defense napping.

Shouldn't that be a penalty? I don't think the OL was set. Could be wrong though.
 
Well the corner wasn't fooled, he had good coverage. There was no pass rush but Murray didn't need much time to throw that route. Just a really good throw.

I’m pretty sure we did this last game. It was pretty slick.

Agree, it took a perfect pass to complete that. I guess that's why they're pros.

I don't think there's any requirement that the OL be in any kind of stance. They just need to be still for one second, which they appear to be. And it seems like there is some leeway on every play - its common for the OL to turn their heads, point at defenders, etc. without getting flagged.
