Peacock

Just coming to post this. The wife started a 30 day free trial of Walmart+ a couple weeks ago to get some groceries delivered and it looks like I will also get the game for free (haven't tried it yet).

It'll take signing up for two services probably but whatever. It's free.
Thanks!

App on my tablet didn't have a rewind or fast forward option. Pretty weak.

Realized yesterday that this games wasn't available through youtubetv/NBCSports, so I subscribed for a month, $10.99 (I think). Went to UNI game, which started at 6:00, planning to start the Cyclones from the beginning when I got home.

Nope. Couldn't rewind! BS! Watched the final 15 minutes.

Nah, that was just your bias against him.
King McClure is extremely fair even when commentating Baylor games. He was definitely way more complementary of ISU last night (because we were making more plays and winning). I hate when fans think the commentators need to be glazing ISU for the entire game. He knows ball and he's way better than some C-list commentators we can get from ESPN.

No need for a calendar reminder, you can cancel right now and will still have access until your monthly renewal date.

Production quality definitely better than ESPN. Nice that our 3 Peacock games are all within a month. I subscribed for a month and immediately cancelled after. $11 for 3 games is a fair price IMO.
There are a couple of shows and a few movies on there I've been wanting to watch. So, the 3 games plus those makes $11 worth it for a month.

Can I dump ESPN+ yet? We done with them?

For MBB, yes!

Though a majority of remaining WBB games, and the conference wrestling duals will be ESPN+. I'm keeping mine through February, then cancelling until November for the next basketball season.

He was fair as usual, he’s just not my favorite in terms of voice and delivery.

The announcers need to be REALLY bad for me to bring up or care about bias because I’m so much more mad about actual blown calls than anything somebody says.

The one time in the past few years I thought a true “national” broadcast crew was actually cheering for a team was the Iowa/USC game this year and it turned out they were local USC guys they had to bring in as last minute replacements. It was comically bad. So it wasn’t my imagination, they were professional homers.

It looks like the Baylor game last night might be the only one shown solely on Peacock, with the upcoming 2 also on NBCSN, which I get through youtubetv. So I paid $11 for one game. That would be ok, if I hadn't missed the 1st 25 minutes and couldn't rewind. Oh well.

I'd say he was being fair, but I definitely felt a bit of "we" not "they" when talking about Baylor in early game. Probably was more of the excitement of Baylor hanging with the #3 team in the country than anything. No announcer ever wants to call a boring game.

I got home about 15 minutes after tip off, and not being able to pause or rewind had me feeling like I was watching a cable TV broadcast from 2005 again. Had to time out beer refills and bathroom breaks and everything!

I switched over to UCONN/Providence at halftime and there was a sick play by one of the Friars. Wanted to rewind to show my wife and realized you couldn't do that.

Where are you seeing that? Everything I've seen is that OSU and Cincinnati will be Peacock only like the Baylor game.
