When we traveled back for an ISU game at Hilton and I discovered "No Cash Accepted" I voted with my wallet and did not spend a nickle in Hilton. I was set to drop several hundred dollars on ISU gear. CASH IS KING!

You really showed them! I’m sure they’ll change their policy any day now. Cash ain’t king anymore and it’s not coming back, so your wallet’s vote is as worthless as one for a Green Party candidate.
Well thank you for your WORTHLESS input. You keep on doing you and I will continue with my worthless cash. I do not expect them to "Change their policy." In fact, I did not even raise a stink about it. Cash is king in the state, county, and city in which I reside.
Still plenty of things you can pay cash for and get a discount. Actually in mom and pops here in Iowa will hit you with a 3-4% few if you pay with a card instead of cash.
Have some contractors who prefer cash also.
It seems like everything now is card only unless you're gambling at a casino. Then cash is king.
The little Hispanic bakery that also sells tamales near me is cash only, just like Voodoo donuts but at a fraction of the price
